Tashabos Educational Organization in cooperation with the High School Administration held the Business Proposals’ Competition (BPC) in the laboratory of the school today, October 14, 2020. The competition began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran, followed by briefing of the eight criteria for the evaluation of the BPs. All Top 10 contesters presented their business to the evaluation board on their turn.

The interesting points of this competition were:

The majority of the contesters brought their work samples (woven baskets, bead confectionery holders, hand-embroidered graphs, jams, vases made of gypsum) so that each one could be judged well.

At the end of the competition, the vice principal of the school participated and thanked TEO for implementing of the Tashabos program and encouraged the students.

The majority of students stated that the purpose of writing their business plans was self-sufficiency, financial freedom and service.

The Top 3 students were selected as follows:

1- The winner of the first position, Ms. Nida and Ms. Madina, Grade 10 students, both sisters who presented their Business Proposal (BP) about making chocolates boxes in different designs. They said, during the quarantine period, after reading the Tashabos subject, they came with this idea to produce a quality product and market it. Their sales markets are in Khairkhaneh, Qala-e Najjara and other areas in the city with a good sales.

2- The winner of the second position, Ms. Fasaahat, Grade 11 student who presented her BP about woven baskets, the baskets were designed from oil plastic bottles, a creative and innovation work, whose customers are their relatives and friends.

3- The winner of the third position, Ms. Tasjali, Grade 11 student who presented her BP about a handicraft design a graphic embroidery work on shirts/Afghan clothes that during the exhibitions organized in the school the student had good sale of her product.

The evaluation panel members briefed the students on how to expand and increasing diverse products with reasonable prices, bringing innovation in the designs, etc.

TEO team at the end tasked the Top 3 students to computerize their BPs according to the format TEO provided that the competition ended with the award of trophies, letters of appreciation and books about business to all the contesters based on their positions.
