The Tashabos Educational Organization in cooperation with the high school management held this business proposal competition on Sunday, October 25, 2020, in the principal office. First a three members jury consisting of one representative of TEO, the school principal and the Tashabos teacher was formed to evaluate the business proposals of the contesters. The competition began with provision of necessary information to the students about presentation criteria of the BPs that the contesters presented their BPs accordingly on their turns.

The interesting points of the competition were:

The high school principal told the students about the Tashabos program that, “You are the lucky students that you in the current situation have such an opportunity that encourages you to have your own business, so not to rely on others, let make use of this opportunity”.

The contesters were given some professional advices such as how to compete with competitors in terms of cost reduction and improving the quality.

The Top 3 selected students were:

1. Mr. Khalid, Grade 12 student, who had a jewelry business proposal, that he makes ornaments such as belts, etc., which are used in Afghan clothes and delivers the products to the customers according to their choices.

2. Mr. Mohammad Tamim, Grade 12 student, whose business proposal was about calligraphy and wall writing. He was also selected as one of the final Top 10 students last year, he said, “I learnt during the TEO training about loss and profits, so I accurately calculate my work and expand my work”.

3. Mr. Basit, Grade 12 student, who had a business proposal about selling sports tools. He said, “By reading the Tashabos subject, I understood how to choose my business location”.

– The principal of the high school expressed his satisfaction with the TEO work and promised to formally appreciate the efforts of TEO at the district educational department level.

– The TEO team following the observation of the initiative and efforts made by the principal Mr. Mohammad Asim, appreciated the initiatives such as building a standard computer lab, arranging safe drinking water, establishing the fiber optic system, etc.

– The competition ended with the award of trophies, letters of appreciation and books about business.
