This competition was held on Sunday, November, 8, 2020 in one of the classes of the high school among the Top 10 students. Rahman Mina High School’s students, like in previous years, wrote high number, about 300 Business Proposals (BPs), this year too, from which the Top 10 BPs were selected. The competition started with the recitation of few verses from the Holy Quraan, Subsequently, all Top 10 contesters presented their BPs to the evaluation committee.

The interesting points of the competition were:

• In this competition, most of the BPs were practical, most of which were written in handicrafts.

• Students were advised on how to develop their small businesses and were encouraged to market their work samples and work with contractors on contracts basis.

• Regarding the need of the Tashabos program, the school Vice Principal told the students that this is important program that encourages you to stand on your own feet economically and to be independent in the future.

The three winners were:

1. The winner of the first position, Ms. Hasina and Ms. Husna two sisters, Grade 11 students, who presented their BP about leather edging/embroidery design on top of clothes, and on the day of the students products exhibition, they displayed various products (Afghan leather embroidered clothes, handbags, designed sandals, etc.) Ms. Hasina said, “We thank TEO for encouraging us to take initiatives and she praised the work of TEO.

2. The winner of the second position, Ms. Parisa, Grade 11 student, who presented her BP about decorating mirrors. She has just started this work and many people have liked her work.

3. The winner of the third position, Ms. Marwa and Ms. Shikwa two sisters, Grade 12 students, presented their BP about their family company called Hossain Kheil that produces mosaics. They work on the design of the mosaics and that their work is going well. They has hired about ten other workers.

To encourage the students, the competition ended with the award of trophies, letters of appreciation and books about business to the contesters.
