The Tashabos Educational Organization (TEO) team, in coordination with the Department of Education of Parwan Province and the administration of the relevant schools, shared the Business Proposals Competitions (BPCs) plan with stakeholders in advance. In this high school, the TEO team first met with the high school principal, during which the importance of the Tashabos program for the students and related matters were discussed. The BPC started with the recitation from the Holy Quraan and the criteria for evaluating the Business Proposals (BPs) were explained to the students. Two new students were also eager to take part in the BPC process that they will send their BPs to the TEO’s office.

The interesting points of the competition were:

– The high school principal, the high school vice principal, teachers and students participated in the BPC.

– To improve their work, the jury members provided the students during their presentation with necessary advices.

– A number of students termed the role of Tashabos important in preparing their mentality for starting small businesses.

The three winners were as follows:

1. The winner of the first position, Ms. Frahnaaz, Grade 11 student, who presented her BP about producing hand weaving/stitching on pieces of cloth and she brought good products to display them in the BPC.

2. The winner of the second position, Ms. Bahaara, Grade 12 student, who presented her PB about producing pickles and tomato paste that she has selling contract with shopkeepers in the market.

3. The winner of the third position, Ms. Hena, Grade 12 student, who presented her BP about making gypsum vases out of towel and her work is in the initial stage that she has not yet introduced her products to the market.

The high school principal thanked TEO for the encouraging the students and asked TEO team to donate a set of business-related books for the students’ read, to the high school’s library, which the TEO team donated.

The competition ended with the award of trophies, letters of appreciation and books about business to the contesters.
