The training started with the recitation from the holy Quran. Later, the trainer gave a full explanation to the students about the standard format of the business plan and asked them to rewrite and computerize their business plans according to this format. He then asked the students to read aloud their homework, which were business plans. Later, he addressed the new lesson, which was the fourth session entitled “market and its characteristics”, and clarified concepts such as: (marketing, competitor, advertising or reputation, offering goods to the market, branding, marketing communications, etc.) to the students.

The trainer later divided the students into groups (Kabul University, Kandahar University, Nangarhar University) and asked them to answer the following questions:

1- What is the market system?

2- What are the types of markets?

3- What is the difference between a free market and a mixed system?

The trainer ranked the groups according to their answers: (Kandahar group excellent, Kabul group the goo and Nangarhar group better).

The trainer then taught the students the types of markets (small market, large market, wholesale market, etc.).

Later, the trainer explained the market system (market system is a set of different stakeholders/players that work together under specific rules and regulations to achieve a specific goal.) And its types (free market system, mixed system and central plan system and in addition goods-to-goods exchange, natural resources (everything that is found on the earth, air and depths of the earth is natural resources), development (is a positive change in the life of an individual and of a community, provided that it does not lead the society to poverty.)

At the end of the second day of training, the trainer shared a video in which two women, Roya and Amina, played central role under the name of “new production.” In this video, design, experimentation, and research were three important elements that were once again explained to the students by trainer, with examples.
