Among Tashabos program under coverage schools, the eagerness of Girls’ schools administration and their students shows that they value Tashabos program and they want to reach their full potential and targeted goals through this program. Rahman Meena GHS is one of the pioneer schools in the Kabul City that have tangible achievements in the Tashabos program. Business proposal competition of this school conducted on 23 November, 2022 in a joint cooperation of TEO and school administration.
The event started with the recitation of few verses of the Holy Quran. The participants were; school principal, vice-principal, teachers, and students. Colleagues from TEO talked about the significance of Tashabos (entrepreneurship) and then they guided Top 10 students about business proposals presentation.
All top 10 students presented their business ideas on their turns as well they provided suitable answers to the jury member’s questions. Students mentioned during their presentation that in the current dilemma, Tashabos program is the best option and vital program for their encouragement and improving their talents.
School principal called Tashabos program very important and she recommended establishing of a permanent exhibition/market inside the school for the students who have active businesses and they produce their products; from one side this can encourage students and from other side this can carry and create economic flourishing. TEO colleagues told that these suggestions are necessary and the expressed that TEO support and encourages any positive step toward empowering youths that the leadership of TEO continues its efforts for reaching to this goal.
Top three business proposals selected as follow;
1- First Position, Ms. Sahar Ahmadi student of Grade 12. She is working as instructor in one of the private Islamic learning center with the name of Al-Falah. She says that she take part in the well upbringing of the youth generation as well she is the financial supporter of her family.
2- Second Position, Ms. Hadya student of Grade 11. She was able to establish a juice sales store with investment of AFN 30,000 as well to provide the employment opportunity for some of the countrymen.
3- Third Position, Ms. Bibi Zahra student of Grade 11. She has business of making different type of wooden cages for birds. She says that beside her other family members she assisting in this work and exclusively she carrying financial management of this business.
– At the end of competition, TEO team, school principal and other teachers encouraged students for their efforts in the current situation and wished them all more successes. School principal hearth-fully thanked TEO for offering these valuable services.
Student were awarded with the distribution of the trophies, business related books, and appreciation certificates.
