Tashabos Program Impact

Ms. Zohra, Grade 11 Tashabos student of Rahman Mena Girls High School located in East of Kabul City. She through her small business pursue her study privately. She runs her business from her home and her family is supporting her. She alongside her study, produce about two hand embroidered cloth/dress per month.
She earns AFN 2,000 from sell of embroidered cloth for children, while earning AFN 3,500 from men cloth. She plans to expand her business overtime to employ other destitute girls, who deserve to earn and support herself, her education and her family.
She said, “Tashabos program/subject encourages students to learn how to start, improve and expand a business that advances the economic condition for a happy and prosperous life.” Her Tashabos teacher would like Ms. Zohra to participate in the upcoming Akhtar Bazaar exhibition. TEO has started communicating with the MSME in Ministry of Commerce and Industry to support Ms. Zohra and other Tashabos students and alumni to either get free stalls or with discounts.
