The Tashabos Educational Organization in cooperation with the high school management held this business proposal competition, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The competition began with provision of necessary information to the students about presentation criteria of the BPs. A three members jury consisting of two teachers and one representative of TEO was formed to evaluate the contesters. All Top 10 contesters presented their Business Proposals (BPs) on their turns and reasonably answered questions of the jury members.

The interesting points of the competition were:

A number of gust visitors consisting of Ms. Seema Hashimi, District 9th Educational Department Director, Mr. Yaar Mohammad, Admin/Finance Officer of the DED, Ms. Seema Barakzai, Supervision Member in the DED as well as principal, teachers and students of the school participated. Principal of the school briefed Ms. Seema Hashimi a newly appointed DED Director about the Tashabos program. Ms. Hashimi then said, “Today program is really interesting for me, really it is an initiative, wish when we were students, we had such a program”.

The Top 10 contesters mentioned of the use of social media for marketing of their products during their presentation of the business proposals that the jury members appreciated.

The three winners were as follows:

1- The winner of the first position, Ms. Zarifa, Grade 12 student, who presented her BP about hand embroidery Yakhan/shirts that she brought the sample to the competition.

2- The winner of the second position, Ms. Sara, Grade 10 student, who also presented her BP about hand embroidery Yakhan/shirts (Kandahari type stitching and graphs). She said, “The Tashabos subject encouraged me to think about improvement of economy of mine, something new and to start a small business with little investment.”

3- The winner of the third position, Ms. Yalda, Grade 12 student, who presented her BP about stitching work and designing clothes.

– The DED director was late to the program, so two of the contesters rehearsed their presentation of their business proposals.

– The competition ended with the award of trophies, letters of appreciation and books about business.
