TEO took the initiative and organized the exhibition as a sample program among other events, which facilitated good introduction of Tashabos program to Kabul City Education Department high ups with wide participation of Tashabos students. Exhibition launched on January 2, 2022 with active participation of Tashabos schools’ administrations representatives, Tashabos teachers, students, and press representative.
Total number of the participants were 20 (Tashabos current students and Tashabos alumni) from three high schools (Khawaja Abdullah Ansari, Ustad Betab, and Saidal Nasari). Media outlets were invited that among Killid Group reporter attended TEO office to cover the event. The main purpose for launching the event was to introduce the Tashabos program to KCED leadership and to attract their support for the program.
TEO Executive Director talked to participants about Tashabos program and the program beneficiaries that TEO through the Tashabos program provided students with this important opportunity. Khawaja Abdullah Ansari BHS vice principal called Tashabos program in accordance to Islam principals and students are required to use the available opportunity as much as possible.
Prior to visit from the exhibition, TEO’s Executive Director and Team presented Tashabos program through a presentation to KCE Director. Mr. Haqbeen presented and shared program activities, goals and recommendations related to expansion of Tashabos program.
Subsequently Kabul City Education Director, Mr. Ehsanullah Khetab inaugurated Tashabos students’ product exhibition. The displayed products at exhibition were; Gandi-Afghani dresse related items, gas producing system with combination of water and petrol, silver products, sample of carpentry products, sample of thin manufacturing products, sample of clay products, clothes, sample of smith products, leather sandals, dentures sample, and cloth washing liquids.
Kabul City Educational Department team talked to each of the participants in turns about their business proposals, Tashabos program role in their businesses, their future plans, market demand, and other related aspects; which participants mentioned Tashabos role important in their business expansion and they requested Mr. Khetab to cooperate for the expansion of Tashabos program.
In an interview with Killid Radio, Mr. Ehsanullah Khetab, KCED Director in response to a question of the Kilid Radio journalist said, “considering the MoU between Ministry of Education and TEO, MoE will support TEO in the implementation of the Tashabos program”. He called Tashabos program a positive step and wished the Tashabos students entrepreneurs more improvements and successes in their businesses.
Kabul City Educational Director and Tashabos Educational Organization (TEO) jointly provided, the Tashabos students with appreciation certificates for their active participation in the exhibition.
