It was interesting to know about the status/types of the employment the Tashabos students secured. The respondents were asked whether the jobs are official or unofficial, majority 85% responded, the jobs were unofficial, while 15% responded the jobs were official. This show most of the jobs were in the private sector.

 When asked about their monthly income 63% of the students stated it is less than 5,000 Afs. Twenty-two percent, students reporting monthly incomes between AFN.5,000 to 10,000 and 15% reported their monthly income, more than AFN. 10,000.

It was important to know the grade disaggregation and enthusiasm of the Tashabos students’ entrepreneurs, thus TEO gathered data in this regard. Graph 2 shows that more boys (71%) than girls (29%) secured employment. In the Afghanistan context pertaining security, cultural and social issues, participation of the 29% of girls is still a high number, who secured job. This clearly reflects the enthusiasm of girls.

All these figures show the greatest impact of the TEO in our local high schools because the majority of the students get inspired by the ideas and encouragement of the program by the age of 17&18 as soon as they realize how valuable it is. I hope the organization increases its capacity building trainings and train much more students quarterly and annually in different platforms such as virtually or in-person.
