Tashabos Program Impact May 24, 2023 Ms. Zohra, Grade 11 Tashabos student of Rahman Mena Girls High School located in East of Kabul City. She through her small business pursue her study privately. She runs her business from her home and her family is supporting her. She alongside her study, produce about two hand embroidered cloth/dress per month. Tashabos Alumni Made it to Kabul International Exhibition Tashabos Program Impact
Ms. Nooria Rezaee the Tashabos alumni graduated in 1400 just two year ago from Omulbanin Girls High School located in west of Kabul City. She made it to the Kabul International Exhibition, where in 600 stalls various products were displayed. Tashabos Educational Organization (TEO) executive director visited the grand exhibition on Monday, May 15, 2023 and TEO staff visited the next day. Starts from AFN.20 and Reaching a Small Business Ms. Fatima Nasiri in 2014 got to know the Tashabos subject in her high school Abul Qasim Ferdawsi located in Kabul City; with completion of Tashabos program she graduated from high school in 2016. Students with Business Ownership
When the respondents were asked if they own the businesses or not. A big percentage 64% responded “Yes they own the businesses” and 36% said “No they do not own the businesses.”
Years of the Graduates with Businesses
Looking into the history of the graduates, TEO team asked the respondent, the graduates with businesses, 49% graduated in 2018 (1397), 26% in 2017 (1396), 21% in 2016 (1395) and 4% in 2015 (1394). This clearly shows the linkages between TEO and the graduated alumni.
Location of the Graduates with Businesses
Looking into the location of the graduates with businesses, 86% of the respondents, the graduates/alumni with businesses were from urban areas, while 14% of the graduates/alumni with businesses from semi urban areas.
